We deliver live birds throughout NSW, Victoria, Queensland and the ACT. Bird supplies — cages, food and accessories — ship to every Australian state and territory. Here is how live bird delivery works from order to arrival.

1. Order and scheduling

After checkout our team contacts you within one business day to confirm your delivery window. Live birds only travel early in the week so no bird ever spends a weekend in transit.

2. Specialist live-animal transport

Birds travel in secure, ventilated transport boxes designed for avian freight, with food and hydration for the journey. We use established live-animal freight services experienced in bird handling — never standard parcel post.

3. Arrival day

You will receive tracking details and an arrival window. Someone must be home to receive the bird. Unbox promptly in a quiet room, offer water, and allow 48 hours of settling time.

Delivering native species

Some Australian native species (such as Gouldian Finches, Star Finches and Diamond Firetails) are subject to state wildlife regulations. Interstate movement to South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and the NT can require import permits — contact us before ordering from those states and we will advise what is possible for the species you want.
